So here is my rant of the day...how do you get noticed...do something crazy.. so many times I go to shows and the band is hugging the microphone or have their backs to the crowd or have their eyes closed. Should your music speak for itself ..yes.. will it?...no not always... Connect with the people at your show...give them something to talk about the next day. Even if you are playing a shitty little club, make the crowd (even if the crowd is one person) talk about you ...think about the shows and bands you have seen ... what was it that made the show great...I have seen many bands with great music but were boring to watch.... I have seen bands that were fun to watch but the music was not so great... but I have gone back to see them again cause it was a lot of fun... use the stage move , move around , jump up and down something.  I'm not saying you have to be Wendy O Williams on the stage but give them something to talk about. STOP KEEPING YOUR EYES CLOSED
